The day is profitable and stimulating giving staff and pupils an experience they will not forget. It has certainly given me much more confidence to try playing jazz rather than just listening.

Miss C Smith, Senior Woodwind Teacher, Gateshead Music Centre.

It was a well structured day with a strong emphasis on the practical side. Pupils and staff of a wide range of skills were actively involved in a positive and encouraging manner. We look forward to the next session with much enthusiasm.

John Traherne M.A., L.T.C.L. Music Development Leader, Department Of Education, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear

It has been a most enjoyable day. The excitement and exhilaration of the performers was apparent in the music. The leaders used straightforward information and techniques which could all be translated to a classroom situation. At last, evidence that Jazz & Blues have a prominent role to play in school music. Another day is essential. Thank You!

Mrs F Ratliff Head Of Music, St Thomas More School, Blaydon.
