their own material as well as the gypsy repertoire. Expect a night of

From the classic repertoire to their own original material, Djangologie reproduce the exciting atmosphere of the Hot Club de France, recreating the swinging music of Django Reinhardt and Stephan Grappelli. Djangology are currently the only 'Hot Club' band in the North East.

They recorded their debut CD in August 2002 (sold out) which has received extensive radio airplay and enjoyed a recent appearance on the BBC's Holiday programme, extolling the virtues of a weekend in Newcastle.

They have released their second CD 'Echoes' which is available on the “Jazzaction” label and can be purchased direct from the group (follow the link above).  Naturally they are available for weddings, birthdays and Bar Mitzvah's.
