Debut album on the Jazzaction Label
The first release on the Jazzaction Label features the Dave Borthwick Trio. Dave is a fine young guitarist who for the past few years has been providing subtle accompaniments and dynamic solo work to the bands of Lewis Watson, Keith Morris and the Voice Of The North Jazz Orchestra (recently heard with John Surman and Tim Garland). For his trio and for this, his first album he has collaborated with two of the regions finest players. On double bass is Mick Shoulder and on drums a new face on the jazz scene is Paul Wight.
The CD features ten tracks (70 minutes!) of original compositions, all by Dave.
